Improve Constantly with a Growth Mindset

Anna Mary Robertson Moses was a happy, long-time embroiderer until arthritis hit. Unable to use the needles anymore, in 1935 she took up the paint brush at the age of 75. In 1938, her paintings were discovered in a drugstore window by a prominent collector, and a New York gallery show led to world-wide fame. She continued painting until close to her death in 1961, at 101 years old. Although she started out selling her paintings for $2, by 2006 one of her 3,600 paintings, Sugaring Off (1943), sold for $1.2 million.
